DOUGLASS flow sight glasses with 360° indication provide users with a complete view of the fluid line from any point, facilitating the detection of anomalies such as color variations, bubbles, flow interruptions, and sediment accumulation.

Depending on the type of fluid being handled, these sight glasses can be manufactured with different types of flanges. Similarly, depending on the pressure and temperature requirements, the glass can be made from borosilicate or polycarbonate.

The flanged connection acts like a metal ring, typically welded at the end of the pipe, with multiple perforations and concentric holes through which various bolts are inserted to exert pressure against another flange. The flanges are joined together using a series of bolts and nuts, along with a gasket between them, sealing the connection and making it pressure-tight to prevent leaks at high pressures.

Flanges can conform to various international standards such as DIN, ANSI, AS, BS, or JIS. They can be fabricated for tank welding or for joining against a flange.
